From technique to art
Hi, I'm Stefano Faiola, the face behind the lens of this photographic adventure. I define myself as a professional photographer, with a specialization that has stolen my heart: Weddings.
My first encounter with the magic of photography dates back to when I was just 5 years old. I followed my father to our family photography studio, enchanted by his way of capturing reality and fixing it on paper. The passion grew in me day after day, so much so that I built a cardboard camera emulating my father. But the real love at first sight came when, on a special day, I received my first camera. From that moment, I understood that my life would have a clear purpose: to represent reality through photography.
My education was enriched by studying the great masters of the sector, with a particular inclination for portrait and fashion, inspired by figures such as Henry Cartier Bresson, Diane Arbus and Steve McCurry. Between courses, workshops and field experiences, at the age of 15, I became passionate about the world of Weddings.
Between workshops with the best Italian photographers of the moment and more than 1000 weddings experienced and studied, I have refined my technique. I have tried to create a unique style, a way of representing not only the image, but above all the emotion of the moment.
In 2007 I took over the management of the photography studio and expanded my vision to other areas, such as newborn photography, advertising and cinematographic photography. Some awards, including 2 Silver Awards at PWS Athens for wedding photography, testify to my commitment and the passion I put into my work.
My true passion is focused on portraits, ceremonies and advertising. For me, photography is a means of communication that must make your heart beat faster every time you look at it.
In 2020, I founded IMAGINAE Video Production, where my collaborators and I create emotion-based wedding and advertising films. My style is unique, not attributable to a simple pose or a reportage, but rather to a real "direction".
